Film Review: Changeling

A true story back then at 1928, a single mother and her only son, child kidnapper and murderer, and a bunch of hypocrite policemen.

Was eyeing on this movie for quite some time till my boy got it for me from the net, eye-catching and stunning shock true story, that is still happening among us within every society. Just that people learn from mistakes, not to correct the morality of human kind, but to learn how to hide and cover their asses in a better way.

Son gone missing, was then replaced and persuaded by policemen that another kid is her son, main purpose is to shut her and the media up, turn out which the mother refused to. The moment she goes for the press conference, the 'back door' tactic is used on her to lock her up to mental institution saying that she can't even recognise her son.

Isn't this happening even now at 2011? After decades and decades of time and days, human kind has developed drastically to the extent that, better to cover the ass up than helping or standing firm on the truth. No? For instance, the previous Bersih 2.0 rally, media and newspaper twist and turn the story of it and a friend of mine from Johor was actually blaming the opposition for being bizzare. For instance, the movie 'The Cove' as revealed the dolphin killing season held every year in Japan and that Government is still trying to cover their fault till date.

Like Changeling, they can persuade the mother to accept another kid as her son, so can the Government makes us citizen believe that it's all the opposition's fault instead of the police force. So, we're now reverted back to 1920s. So can the Government provides you whale meat but it's high-in-mercury dolphin meat, even endanger your health. No?

A movie about human rights, about truth being twisted and lies being promoted to the face of everyone, about human's cruelty, about us killing us. I watched it with heart, filling every bits of the mother's weakness and strength.

Angelina Jolie

Film Review: Transformer 3

The long wait, finally. We nailed it yesterday night at the largest hall in Malaysia - GSC Maxx, provides the best 3D screening with high-tech accessories. Apparently, yes they do. Despite the fact that they screwed themselves up with the premier screening on Wednesday night, it went quite well for us, fortunately, although we are ONE day later than the premier one. Sorry GSC, but I seriously think that you should improve your management when sshits happened. Curious? Click HERE.

Okay, I'm a fan of Transformer. Not those typical ones, I'm only a fan of Transformer movie directed by Mr Bay. Not so much into the cartoon version (sorry to say...). Fall in love for the first sight for Transformer (The very first Transformer movie...) and then caught up into Transformer 2: Revenge of Fallen, and they improved way to much in Transformer 3: Dark of the Moon. Let me list some reasons why you shouldn't miss it!

3D!
They even have the subtitles in 3D as well! Remember the trailer of TF3 where the building falling apart, those glass flakes flying around as if they're coming off the screen, literally! Those efforts are just undeniable. Even Mr Bay suggested to watch it in 3D to experience the new 3D technology effect,. Watch it once? Watch again!

Bumblebee Version?!
3D Glasses
I felt dizzy after watching TF3 with this :/
Auto-bots!
More allies to come, meaning more 'gaya' cars to show. Chevrolet again for Bumblebee, they too have 'em with Decepticons - Chevrolet in Carbon Fibre Black and shiny Golden cross logo! How awesome is that!? And Mr Ferrari never left out being an Autobots, assistant to Optimus. Mercedes Benz for hot sexy Carly, and gaya-max Shockwave! Just that one thing I seriously don't get it for Sentinel's vehicle, some rusty old van? I shall drop by for a second visit and clarify this!
Red Ferrari Mirage 458 Italia
Chevrolet in Decepticons
Mercedes Benz SLS AMG
Transforming!
"Autobots, roll out!" Yes, we love the phrase, but this time they have themselves rolling out in a different way. We used to see Ironhide whacking the floor with his heavy metal weapon and then, transform. Now, they collide each other and transform in the air! And that slow-mo transforming showing off all the details they've done to those Cybertron creatures, WICKED!
Collision -> Transformed!
Accessories!
They used to be plain, only equipped with their own weapons which built-in within their body. They now have accessories themselves! Did the US Military just make them that? Optimus used to fall off from sky by using four parachutes in Part I, now he has a huge cargo linked to him as his flying tools! Not to mention Megatron, being rusty already! Having that rusty old look, with head scarf?! I'm amazed by that!
Optimus Prime with Jet
*blurrrr*
Megatron Rusty Mack Titan

Ken Jeong!
Famous comedian casting in TF3, hilarious he is! Showing nervous shock and panic faces, Asian can do it better :D Oh I like the part how he hides his secret letter! In case you're watching, take note on that!
Ken Jeong
Leonard Nimoy!
Baby was saying Nimoy - Sheldon's big time favourite is going to play Sentinel's role, guess their main intention is to attract Star Trek's fans as well?! Maybe or maybe not, they always get to have the sexy-low-pitch-very-man voices for the Primes, very likey!
Leonard Nimoy-Look-Alike!
John Turturro!
Rich man he is! From Sector 7 to a hot selling book author? He must be kidding! Well, enough said, he's hilarious! He can't be left out in any of these films, I like him!
Sector 7!
John Malkovich!
Like him since the day he played a crazy role in R.E.D, now acting some sensitive gay that hates red so much, wanting the whole unit to be in yellow, yes, another Bee-Lover!
John Malkovich
Patrick Dempsey!
Such a charming guy, acting villain? Just so not him! He collects antique vehicles, and I was expecting all of 'em to transform to Decepticons. Happened? No? Don't know...
Patrick Dempsey
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley!
Replacing Megan Fox, she has this mild British accent, just... Well, yes she is sexy, hot, but I just can't cope that an American movie, with British accent in it, ops.
Rosie with Mercedes Benz SLS AMG
Shia LaBeouf!
My man! Love the way he addressed Bumblebee - Bee! How sweet! He was jealous that Bee is on some sort of missions and not back to his garage in time, awwww adoring! Missing Bee too much, he got a piece of crap to replace Bee temporarily, lagiiiii sweet! Oh, he has the very same dangling bee decoration just like one in Part I - We all just can't live without Bee :)
Sam Witwicky with Bumblebee
Aye, too much of crappy crap, pictures!
Chevrolet
Camaro 6.2L
Sparkling Sharp Yellow!
Sexy Butt!
Only in Malaysia!
Sentinel Prime
Bumblebee
Shockwave
22ft Tall of Optimus
How is it like when the real one walks in?!
Oh, how I wish...

Thank you 1U for setting up this Transformer roadshow. They manage to have the 22 feet tall of Optimus in there, and Camaro as well! Maximum awesomeness!

Mr Bay, you're done with TF3 now, are you ready for TF4? I heard Mr Spielberg is on the go to assist you for that! Surprise us, as you always did!

Film Review: X-Men: First Class

As mentioned earlier, I had a movie marathon with baby, so I'm going to share the second film I watch that last Tuesday - X-Men: First Class.

I was wondering about the timeline about this X-men show, upside down, inside out, so I'm a bit (actually very!) confused about this movie. Lucky me having my brilliant baby explains to me, this show is actually the very introduction of Professor X, which is way before the introduction of X-men. So, whatever Wolverine, X-men I II & III are way backward from this First Class film (obviously).

I shall introduce some of the characters in this movie, as I can't really find every single of them from Google, anyway, Thank You Google!!!
Official Poster
Charles Xavier - Professor X
James McAvoy
Searching for mutants all over the world to give aid and advice - "Mutant and Proud". Smart and hilarious person as in the film, I found him kinda charming :)

Erik Lehnsherr - Magneto
Michael Fassbender
Another handsome guy in the film, pretty face! Special thanks to baby for the information, I never knew both these leaders used to be close friends and ended up enemies, due to the very extremely different perspectives. What a waste, they are so powerful to can even rule the world. Well that's the story, must be a good versus a bad. Starting to like this film!

Raven - Mystique
Jennifer Lawrence
Lucky her playing the role of Mystique, and get to show her apparel as human, too bad for the previous actress for this character. This film shows it how Mystique end up joining the Magneto instead of staying by Professor X's side, which they used to be close friends for more than 20 years.
Emma Frost
January Jones
Hank McCoy - Beast
Nicholas Hoult
Alex Summers - Havok
Lucas Till
Janos Quested - Riptide
Alex Gonzalez
Azazel
Jason Flemyng
Destiny
That's all the character I can get, but enough said! Lucky enough I got the preview tickets, unlucky you not to get the whole story from me ;p

This film shows you how did everyone get evolved to the current character i.e how Beast turns out to be blue, why Mystique remains blue but not changing herself to a sexy lady, how did he ended up with a wheel chair, and also how did Magneto get his anti-telepaths hat!

To you X-men fans out there, all these information must be a piece of cake! Now I think they've done with their X-men history, what will be the next? I'm expecting more stories 'bout X-men but before that, I shall watch over again all the X-men I, II, and III. Adios!

Film Review: Kungfu Panda 2

It was a Tuesday evening, my mum managed to purchase tickets for all of us for a movie, which then to catch up another film with baby at e-Curve, more like a movie marathon thing! The former ones we get to watch Kungfu Panda 2 with the kids and then catch a premier of X-Men First Class *lucky*
Kungfu Panda 2
"Prepare for the Year of Awesomeness" - Yes, this show is AWESOME.

I'm really an animation lover, colourful, cute, beautiful, detailed drawing, can easily catch my heart. And DreamWorks has did it again! One may say the plot of this story is a bit too normal or predictable but hello, it's a family show and look at every single details they did all those characters, identical!
Jack Black - Po
Dustin Hoffman - Master Shifu
Angelina Jolie - Tigress
Jackie Chan - Monkey
Lucy Liu - Viper
David Cross - Crane
Seth Rogen - Mantis
It's the Dragon Warrior, Furious 5 and Master Shifu! It's them again playing the main role in this film. I would say they did a bit more of talking as compared to Kungfu Panda 1.

Especially Crane, he's now a Po-Lifter at all time when Po is trying to do some silly acts like, jumping off the mountain for 'gaya-ness' and Crane to lift him up before him whacking the floor, great partner he is!

Mantis, faster move in deeming the fire, and always wanted a life that his wife would chop off his head - Grasshopper's Love!

Tigress, one warm hug from her to Po, not that cool after all aye?! Telling a bit more about her past in film II, like how she got her stainless-steel-no-feeling-palms!

Master Shifu, as always, lay low, more on philosophy and theories, and his rolling eyes, love it!

Monkey & Viper, not too much in talking, guess it's just the Asian accent that stops them from doing so, anyway the Monkey is so Jackie Chan when he starts talking.

Not forgetting our beloved PO, more and more funny acts here, love his jokes, he's more 'pro' in his kungfu act as well, always hungry at all time but hardly see him eating, maybe DreamWorks is just sick of Dim Sum :D
Gary Oldman - Lord Shen
There goes Lord Shen, replacing the evilness of Tai-Lang, they have this peacock a very Elegant kungfu! Every move of his is so 'Tai-Ji', slow-mo and nice! Just that the angry eye-brow might be a bit irritating, and of course the stubborn thinking, other than that, he's a pretty peacock!

A great show to go for, I was laughing so hard throughout the whole show, HILARIOUS! Oh yes, they even did the baby version of Po, like how did he gain such weigh since the very young age! See!
Baby Po
VERY CUTE RIGHT???
DreamWorks, I love you and please continue your hard work so that I can continue loving you again and again!
