I know I'm very late, and I'm so sorry for that!
As I've mentioned about the reminder to set your seats in ethic class, introduction session and also legal aid session, hopefully you guys have done it because there's a few friends of mine have missed some of those session and prolonged their long call date - very unwise! So again, please keep in mind these three sessions, prioritize these first!
Now for short call, to obtain an order to appear before SAR and judge in an open court and in chambers. Please make sure the draft order is ready prior your short call date! Sample of draft order is available in Bahagian RKKK in Aras 2. Or, you can always google it! I believe it's now in the Bar Council's Pupillage Handbook (I've received a latest version of the handbook so please check it out yourself, no more spoon-feeding :)
Most importantly, the no-objection letter from Bar Council and Bar Committee. As for pupils in KL, both of the bodies will serve on your behalf to the court, for the rest of the states, please double check with your bar to make sure it's ready to be served!
As attendance is no longer required, you can always choose to do e-filing in the office, provided that you have one. Otherwise, stick back to the manual filing in high court. By now, you should know how e-filing works in the court, so all the best to you guys! MIND THAT, it's always advisable for you to drop by Bahagian RKKK for a bit to let the Kakak check your order!
Again, please make sure it's filed, served and also filed your Afidavit Penyampaian after all the services to all three bodies.
No big deal, it's just the service of order. Just keep an eye on the abovesaid THREE SESSIONS!

Happy 3rd Anniversary!
As usual, we hunt for luxury and pampered dinner, but this time round, way tooo much! But it's a small break for both of us, out from work and tension, one night to love ourselves and each other, even more. After my first visit to Carne Y Vino last year, I get to pick and yes, luxury it is! Pictures to share our love...

Our early arrival approaching 7pm, only couple of tables are attended, guess we were too early but they do serve during that hour, just that it'll be cozier if you can drop by at around 10pm for their live band. Too bad for him, I'm just too packed up with tiredness so early dinner would be great ;(

Chambering - The Bar Council & Bar Committee
After your service of all Borang 1-5, and filing of both your Afidavit Penyampaian untuk Pemohon dan Pempetisyen, please take NOTE that you should be keeping an eye on the 'No Objection Letter' from both Bar Council and Bar Committe (be it in whichever State).
As I signed up myself in the KLBC, self collection is not mandatory but, guess it's just the overflowing amount of chambies that they couldn't be bothered to entertain all of us. Upon collection, mind that you have to serve it to the Court both of the copies.
Also bear in mind that you should submit forms for Bar Council and Bar Committee. If not mistaken, you're required to write-in a letter informing your education background to the Bar Council in Malay (well, that's what I did since their covering letter is in Malay), along with your LLB certificate. Then proceed with the payment of RM150.00 + RM30.00 for your ethic class. Prepare 3 pieces of Passport size photographs that're 2 for the Bar Council and 1 for the Bar Committee.

Chambering - Afidavit Penyampaian Pempetisyen & Pemohon
Good day, Readers! My sincere apology for being this late to update my blog, in fact I'm really busy with my chambering period, but I'll try my best to assist. Forwarding my previous post regarding filing of Borang 3, 4, and 5, here comes the post regarding filing of Afidavit Penyampaian for all 5 Borang. Hope you still remember my previous post on Borang 1 & 2, I didn't serve my files to Bar Committee and AG Chambers, eventually I serve it to all 3 bodies only after filing of Borang 3, 4, & 5.
Obviously, you amend your content of affidavit accordingly. What I did was I based on the acknowledgment stamp and time and did some changes. Key note, file in Borang separately, file in Affidavit separately also!
Same procedure:-
Please bear in mind that no service is necessary, till then, be patience and wait for your short call date! I file my Afidavit Penyampaian only one month after the filing of Borang 3, 4 & 5. But I strongly advice you NOT to do so! Get it done promptly! I'll try to upload the sample here, as the copy of both is in my office PC. In case it's on urgent basis, just drop me a comment with your email address and I'll get back to you asap.

- Compile Afidavit Penyampaian Pemohon with Sijil Perakuan Ekshibit and the complete set that you file on Borang 3, 4, & 5 (AP- 2 pages; SPE - 1 page; Set - 3 pages).
- Get affirmation from Commissioner of Oath beforehand.
- All set? Out to court!
- Proceed to Counter 22/23 to collect a number for Express Filing (Finally, the court added another counter for less than 10 pages of scanning, wise move I would say).
- Go to Aras 2, Bahagian RKKK, let kakak check through your documents before proceeding to do the scanning.
- Once checking is done, go to Counter 22/23, proceed with the scanning.
- Collect Notis of Pembayaran from Counter 17. Please do me a favour, speed a smiling face over to kakak, I think among all the tension she's going through, she deserves something extra :)
- Proceed to Kaunter Pembayaran to make payment. Collect Receipt and Invoice.
- Get back to Counter 17, submit the Invoice to the same kakak and collect the final statement.
- Work done!

Chambering - Borang 3, 4 & 5
It was easier now, as I've encountered shits earlier. I went on Tuesday instead, please don't ever go for Monday or Friday although your senior advised you to do so, a lawyer saw us complaining and said, "Lawyer has no sincere words." It's like a huge slap on our faces but true enough.
So for Borang 3, 4 & 5, I gave it a brave try, I serve only to KL Bar Council (instead of to all 3 bodies), BUT mind that I brought along my Affidavit Penyampaian! Note that I've made some edition by deleting the (b) and (c) which in fact I didn't serve to AG or KLBC/SBC. Same old same old:-
- Borang 3, 4 & 5. Don't fill up in case you're not sure. Bring EXTRA copies. Print Service Bureau Form. (Note: No other extra document(s) needed!)
- Prepare 2 copies for Borang 4, get your master to sign both, leaving one copy BLANK in case there's mistake (No Liquid Paper!) Explain to him/her why.
- Head over to Kompleks Mahkamah Kuala Lumpur, Jalan Duta.
- Get Number for e-filling purpose at Counter 23. He'll check through and request you to check first from Bahagian RKKK, just let him know you'll do so after obtaining one Express Counter Number, nicely :)
- Go to Aras 2 - RKKK, let Kakak goes through all your Borang. Double check with her whether Affidavit Penyampaian for Borang 1 & 2 necessary or not. For my case, they didn't want mine.
- After your Borang is checked and dated, proceed to Counter to 23 for scanning, along with your completed Service Bureau Form. Total of 3 pages to be scanned!
- Proceed to Counter 17 to obtain Payment Notice.
- Proceed to Kaunter Pembayaran to make payment of RM36.00.
- Head back to Counter 17 to obtain Official Stamp Invoice.
- Extraction Code will be provided on the Invoice itself, but it is advised that you wait around 1 - 2 working days to proceed to next step.
- I got my short call date on the spot as the Kakak in RKKK checked for me, you may try requesting for one at your own risk :)
- Get back to office and wait for e-mail from efs@kehakiman.com.my to confirm your Short Call Date and Extraction Code. Print it out and that's your Official Borang 3.
- Proceed to make 3 copies and Serve all Borang 1 - 5 to all the 3 bodies (KL Bar Council, AG Chamber & KLBC/SBC)
- Done!
I've done only until this stage, firm is running busy, so am I. Will be serving mine next week, personal service should be good enough, at least I experience it once :)

- Free Transportation from Masjid Jamek LRT Station to and fro High Court with a 10-seater White Van (Not sure 'bout their schedule though).

Chambering - Borang 1 & 2
Approaching year end, the firm I attached to is so damn busy with their works and obviously, I was slightly being ignored ;( And thus far, I wasn't guided with proper guideline and examples on how to file in Borang 1 & 2. Therefore, again, I'm here to share my experience I've been through, from 8am to 5pm.
1. Get
all Borang
1-8 either from KL Bar Council (cost you RM5), or someone in your firm
a copy (free). Ask for Service Bureau Form from your firm or seek help to look for one from e-filling. Always keep EXTRA copies in case you fill up the form wrongly, I strongly advise
you to do so!
2. Prepare
Documents,
all certified:
- Identity Card
- Birth Certificate
- CLP/ Barrister Certificate
- Master Profile (http://www.malaysianbar.org.my/legal_directory.html)
3. Head
over to Kompleks Mahkamah Kuala Lumpur, Jalan Duta.
4. Get
NUMBER
first at the e-filling counter for E-FILING purpose.
5. Go
to Aras
2 Bahagian RKKK - Let Kakak goes through your forms and documents
(Total SEVEN pages) for you. (In case you didn't affirm the Affidavit Borang 1 from Commissioner for Oath, kindly do it at
Aras 1 with payment of RM4 first, then proceed to Kaunter Pesuruhjaya Sumpah.
It is strongly advice you do it beforehand as you might get it done for free.)
6. Proceed
to Counter
23 for Express Scanning. Fill up the Service Bureau Form. Queue up for e-filling. This is to scan all
the checked through documents.
7. Proceed
to Counter
17 to collect Payment Notice after scanning is
done.
8. Proceed
to Kaunter
Pembayaran to pay RM98 for your petition (RM80:
Petition \ RM8: Affidavit \ RM10: Borang 2). Please make sure you have the Receipt
with you.
9. Get
back to Counter 17 to collect Stamped Official Invoice by
submitting the Stamped Payment Notice.
10. Petition Number will be shown on the Invoice
itself (e.g 18-1660-12/2011), fill up for both Borang 1 & 2.
11. Go back to Bahagian RKKK to get
your petition dated.
12. Proceed to Aras B1 bookstore,
Photocopy Kakak is an expert in preparing Chambering's document (4
copies of the 7-page document, 32 copies of Borang 2, 16 sets which
consist 2 copies each).
13. Proceed to Bahagian RKKK to submit ONLY
the 16
sets of Borang 2.
14. Done!
I've done only
these 2 forms, will keep on updating the rest, I hope you find this helpful.
